Wamego Telecommunications Company, Inc., (WTC) formerly Wamego Telephone Company, expanded its services over the years to include internet, cable and Wi-Fi services. This expansion precipitated the need for a larger headquarters building.

The 18,000 square foot headquarters for Wamego Telecommunications includes business staff, accounting, customer service and field representative offices, telecommunications equipment rooms, conference rooms, and staff support spaces. A 6,000 square foot vehicle maintenance and storage building adjacent to the office building provides supplemental storage, wash bays and drive-through capability for service vehicles. The strategic site at US Highway 24 and Highway K-99 has been developed with full parking, landscaping and a branch bank for the Bank of the Flint Hills. This project received an Award of Merit from the Associated General Contractors of Kansas.
