The City of Manhattan and the surrounding region is the fastest growing area in Kansas and the air service at Manhattan Regional Airport has grown to meet ongoing demand, with several flights daily to Chicago O'Hare and Dallas/Fort Worth.

In 2012, expansion of the 12,000 square foot existing terminal facility was needed. Mead & Hunt, nationally recognized airport architects and engineers of Middleton, Wisconsin, requested that Bruce McMillan AIA Architects, P.A. in conjunction with Ben Moore Studio and Olsson Associates Engineers become part of its team to propose services for the project. Mead & Hunt was successful in being awarded this $17 million, 42,000 square foot project for which our team has provided local construction administration support and coordination with the owner, general contractor, and consultants.
